About Us

Pepper Jane’s Colors and Scents is a family-owned business in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are a husband and wife team (Ethan and Kristi,) and we have two children, Tara age 16, and Dylan age 12.  We started our journey as soap makers, and through that journey, we found that our favorite two ingredients to buy were fragrances and colors. We decided to create Pepper Jane’s with a “focus on the fun” approach, devoting our attention to offering high-quality fragrances and colors. We have been Etsy sellers for the past two years, and through this, we have learned what our customers’ wants and needs are, and are bringing this knowledge to our website.

We have taken our experience as consumers and to fill the voids we felt when working with soap and candle supply distributors in the past. We want your shopping experience to be fun and fulfilling. Our goal as a small, family-owned business is to help your small business succeed. All of our fragrances are skin-safe, and wonderful for making soap, candles, tarts, bath and body products, diffuser oils, air fresheners, slime, and more. Our micas are ethically sourced, and offered in a wide array of colors and shades. We offer candle colorants in both concentrated dye chips and liquid dyes.

Here are a few things that set us apart from the others:

* We provide fragrance sample strips with fragrance purchases $25 and up. We also sell sets of fragrance strips so you can try several fragrances economically prior to purchasing a bottle.

* Our focus is on both fragrances and colors, so these products are never just an afterthought lost in the mix.

* We strive to help your business succeed. We offer opportunities for our customers to submit their images and stories to be included as a Featured Maker on our social media.

* We offer free shipping on purchases of $50 and up (before tax and shipping)

* We offer free 1 oz. bottle of fragrance with a $50 purchase as part of our Fragrance of the Month incentive. 

* We offer a shipping option through USPS so you can ship economically on small orders. We also offer shipping through UPS and FedEx to save you on large orders.

* We allow returns on new, sealed products, including fragrance oils (See our return policy for more details.)
